Mauricio García Villegas

Ph.D. in political science from the Catholic University of Louvain-La-Neuve (Belgium) with post-doctoral studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA), Professor of Law, specializing in sociology of law, legal theory and constitutional law; dedicated a socio-legal research at national and international projects. He has been visiting professor at the University of Grenoble (France) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the International Institute of Sociology of Law (Spain), among others. He currently serves as professor at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a principal investigator and research director of the Center for Law Justice and Society DJS.
